Do I have to be in shape to come to Boot Camp?
Not at all; our clients are all shapes and sizes of different ages. We have beginners ranging to advance. Your trainer will modify the exercises for your level.
Is the training intimidating?
No of course not! We do not scream and shout at our clients. Our classes are fun, de stressing and energizing to encourage people to come back time after time. You will be encouraged along the way to achieve your personal best. You are an adult and you will be treated with respect!
Are the classes mixed men and women?
Yes, our classes are mixed but don’t be intimidated. Our trainers will structure the programme specifically for you and you can choose a trainer, time and location if you want to join a particular class. Some of our clients are married couples and enjoy working out together.
What do I need to bring?
Bring water to keep yourself hydrated during camp. Optional items are a towel to dry off with and gloves or mittens during cooler months. Dress in a layered fashion...even if it is chilly, you will get warm very fast!

Do you train in winter weather conditions?
Boot Camp is held rain, sleet, snow or shine! We want you to get into the habit of NOT letting the weather dictate if you can work out or not.
I am really overweight, can I still sign up?
Of course; the idea of Boot Camp is to encourage regular people to change their lifestyles and encourage people to make healthier choices and incorporate fitness in their daily routine.
Do I have to commit every week?
No, we understand that people are busy or travel. You can buy a small package or just ‘drop in’ when you are available.
Can I train with you everyday?

Will I get the same trainer for each session?
It’s entirely up to you. You book your class at the relevant location and time so you can check the trainer’s schedule to see who will be training you.
Will the instructor be able to personally evaluate my fitness and goals?
Yes, even though you are in a group we don’t expect everybody to be at the same level. The trainer will encourage you to go at your own pace and modify the exercises when needed.
How much do you charge?
We have ‘drop in’ classes for just 140 RMB or we have different packages. See ‘rates’.
What kinds of people join your Boot Camp classes?
They are people just like you. Someone who needs a little push to jump start their fitness and wellness program. Will I be sore?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate; it's part of the process that lets you improve!
Is it military style?
No, unlike military boot camps there is no yelling and screaming. Our trainers encourage you to do your personal best regardless of your fitness level.
How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level
Can you give me nutritional advice?
Yes, speak to our professional trainers and they will help you with a food diary or any dietary requirement advice you may need.
What can I expect to achieve?

Why Boot Camp V’s the gym?
There’s no right or wrong answer here; whether one is better than the other. It’s a personal choice but some clients choose Boot Camp when they have reached a plateau and need a boost. You will be doing body weight training alone and adding variety to your programme. Some clients enjoy getting out in the fresh air with nature away from noisy and crowded gyms. It’s also a great way of meeting different people.

Do only fitness pros go to Boot Camp?
Absolutely not! Boot campers are people just like you! Some come to boot camp needing that little extra push to get started on their fitness path and then move off to continue exercising on their own. Others come to boot camp for the social group setting and the direction of an experienced fitness instructor and stay for many years. The variety and discipline is great for anyone at any fitness level.
What exactly is Boot Camp fitness and how is it different from regular training?
With Boot Camp you will be specifically doing body weight training. You will be training in a group which is a fun way to motivate each other. These exercises you can do when you are travelling and don’t have access to a hotel gym. Ask your trainer for an exercise programme to follow on your own when you are out of town.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. During winter wear layers; even though it’s cold you will soon warm up and it’s important when you cool down after the session you apply your layers again. Bring a towel, water and appropriate training shoes.
How old are most of the people at Boot Camp?
It depends, but in general from 30-45 years old.
Can children join?
Yes, if we have a group of children who are interested then we can form a specialized ‘kids boot camp’ or if you simply have a teenage daughter or son who wishes to join you at weekends then yes they are more than welcome!
If I drop out, can I re-join again later?
Sure, no problem. That’s why we have a ‘drop in’ rate. We believe though, once you get started in a boot camp programme you will come back session after session; but we understand a lot of our clients travel so that’s no problem at all, just come when you are in town.
